What drives the final price
Two Control Plans for two parts are rarely the same size of job. Scope is reviewed before a fixed price is issued, based on:
- Part complexity and configuration
- Number of characteristics to be controlled
- Number and type of manufacturing operations
- Special processes and outside processing
- Customer-specific formats and requirements
- Condition of any existing documentation supplied
- Volume of documents in the package
- Required turnaround time
How engagements are structured
Most work is quoted as a fixed-price project. Manufacturers with recurring needs use a monthly agreement instead, which is generally more economical than quoting each revision separately.
Services are not purchased through this website. These are professional consulting services, and every project is reviewed before final pricing is issued. Requesting a quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
